Default Optima Batteries Help

Need a new pair, local dealer seems a bit high sort of like he just smoked a bowl! He lists blue tops for $170. What is the actual average. I have them in my boat now am very pleased with them but never purchased any before, is he spinning the screws at me?

Default Not sure about your area, but...

...Costco now carries Optimas. The only difference between the marine and automotive (starting and deep cycle) are the posts...although I see the marine blue tops at the Costco by my house once in awhile.

$100 for the starting, and $140 for the deep cycle...might be worth asking about.

Internet retailers (like this place and this place) are pretty cheap...but the shipping will jack up the price.

open saturday til 3 pm call ahead of time they had to get 1 from a warehouse, they are locted on the westside on blanding blvd,
to get there take I- 295 south to 103rd street turn left, go about 3 miles down left on blanding and it will be on the left. also Offroad and 4wheel drive warehouse has them and said they would match price, it is located on 103 st between 1-295 and Blanding hope that helps. Pete
