Default Scarab 302

Currently boatless and looking at 302 scarabs. Looking for the good, the bad and the ugly on these boats. What do you know about them. Might be interested in some others as well. possibly the 280 Baja sport, maybe a donzi 30ZF or possibly an older 33ZF, Fountain 31TE or something along those lines. Basically a "sporty" fishing boat. If you have something that I might be interested in, let me know. Not really looking to spend over 50K. Thanks, Joe

Floors are always the bad as if they have not been redone, they will need to be for sure. Common issue on them.

Take a look at 33 Ocean Hawk if your looking for a sporty center console fishing boat although I'd say more sport than fishing as it has a narrow beam and generous cabin. There are 2 used ones on the market last I looked.

There was also a 33 Cigarette Café Open on powerboatlistings.com, not sure if it's still for sale; same mold used as 33 Ocean Hawk. There is a 33 powerplay center console that was converted to outboards on this site as well. In my never ending quest for the perfect boat I always come back to the 33 Ocean Hawk.

There is a Ocean Hawk listed locally right now. Very nice looking boat but unfortunately out of my current boat budget.

Can anyone shed some light on this boat? I have contacted the owner to look at it a couple of times, but he claims to be out of state working. Would like to know just exactly what it is.
