Hey guys, did you guys see Hellkat's new 40ft cat? It's supposed to be like performance fishing. To compete with freeman, invincible, seahunter, etc... But it will be priced at $600k... I think that's too high for an unproven hull and a new boat manufacture. It will have quads. I can see this price being a bit more justified if it has quad 450rs (which it wont).. Even then.. I still think this boat is very overpriced. You can't make up all your money on tooling on your first build... That's just my opinion. I also heard that the plug isn't original he just made modifications to the plug. What do you guys think of the price point? Boating is getting so expensive.

I understand boat makers that have been making an excellent product. But I hate that NEW builders think they can price their boats the same as these guys that have been making excellent boats for decades and have built an excellent reputation and have created a big brand recognition throughout the industry.

the hull came from a 39 blue thunder. they stepped and notched it not sure what else
