Default Inside SOTW Mag: Event Organizer Outlook 2021

Most go-fast boating event organizers struggled in 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. The good news? They’re inspired to make them happen next year, https://www.speedonthewater.com/insi...-outlook-2021/.

LOTO buzzed all season really, we met numerous boaters that actually bought 2nd homes there this past year that were locked out of their states and/or many kept boats at LOTO for extended periods. Geographic shift ? or Temporary ??

I wouldn't necessarily call it a "shift" because the Lake of the Ozarks area has been a consistent hotbed of go-fast boating for some time, but the pandemic definitely put that into overdrive thanks to Missouri's event-friendly approach. But no doubt about it, this year accelerated the real estate push around the lake like never before, at least according to the two real estate agents I know there. And at least until the lake runs out of waterfront property, I don't believe it's temporary.
