Whats the details on this? Been wanting to go to St Pete for awhile. Haven't been there since 2015. I always have a good time in that area.

Is there a good place to watch the boats take off or watch them run? We are in town with no boat and looking to see all the boats.

come out to an area on the Manatee River. Best spot to get a view as all boats from Sarasota to St. Pete all come up that river to the lunch stop

Before the train track bridge is open running, after is a wake zone till about Caddies then resume operation again.

Desoto Memorial Park is a great spot. The channel coming in the Manatee river goes right by the point. We always have a group that anchors up there and watches all the boats come in.
