I am doing a rebuild on my 502 with a Side whipple. I recently burned a whole in the #6 piston so i want to get this thing right. The block is currently at the machine shop.
4.500 bore x 4.250 stroke.
je forged pistons
rod length is 6.385
gil exhaust
088 heads
5lbs of boost.
fuel system has been upgraded with an Aeromotive A1000, fuel pressure regulator with the return back to the tanks.
my questions
1) Can i continue to use the stock injectors since the whipple has 2 on the throttle body? If not any recommendations on what injectors to use?
2) i currently have a Mefi-3 system, will a upgrade be necessary for bigger injectors (Mefi4 or other systems)?
3) any recommendations on what Cam to go with?
if any additional information is needed i will be more than happy to provide it.

the 8 in the intake are stock (42lb i believe)
the supercharger are stock as well.(dont know the specs)
yes, the boat was tuned with ab O2 sensor but the last builder used dome pistons and i was not aware of that. So i believe high compression also played a role.
