Default Tickfaw 200 Poker Run Up In The Air For This Year

Fingers crossed that the Tickfaw 200 Poker Run (April 28-May 1) in Louisiana is not cancelled for the second year in a row.

Our Governor is a Democrat. So the answer will be No.

We’re still going. My gut tells me there will be more than handful of boats that have their own un-official poker run. TF is one of my favorite runs of the year. Not missing 2 years in a row.

nothing good. the phase 2 order was extended for 21 more days. that put it till march 2 until they may give out the needed permits. it also restricts the about of people that can be at stops. this is another issue. another big local event in town the Strawberry fest called it off yesterday over the same issues. It was on the books in the beginning of aril. time is ticking between getting the need permits, printed items, lifted gathering size restrictions for the stops, and everything else.... we are trying but hands are tied.

have new guidelines and it allows the run to happen if approved by heath board. lots of restrictions if they ok it and the state oks the permits. plus a rulling on how many people we can have in the site venue. should know what we plan to do some time this week/.
