It looks like a throttle control crossed with a scientific calculator... surprised they left so many control options directly on the remote vs. bluetooth/ cell phone.

May sound stupid but that seems to be the way technology is taking us....

I have to wonder if all that technology is worth the dollars. Does is work that much better, is it safer? I know it will help Merc's bottom line but what does it do for the boater that he cannot already do for himself? Offshore boats are already dam expensive i see this adding to the price.

I can't wait for DTS on my next boat. cables suck! I want a joystick as well.

DTS is nice, but I don't use any of the extra features I have now. The single lever throttling always sounded cool to me but I still haven't attempted to use after 4+ yrs.
