Seeking options to have a boat transported from San Diego, CA to Charlotte, NC.
Apparently even the companies that allow p/u truck rental & towing, don't allow 1 ways!
Early to mid April trip, dates are very flexible.

Not sure of the size you are looking at towing but Uhaul box trucks have tow hitches and offer some wind protection.
I thought the rent trucks too?

Yes, I researched this option but it requires the rental of a 26' box truck whose 1 way rate for the truck alone exceeds the quote the dealer provided me as 1 way shrink wrapped.
