Hey guys,
Any help would be appreciated.
Recently bought a 240 sundeck - came with a 2 axle performance trailer
Living in Florida, I need the trailer to be registered and licensed if its empty weight is 2000 pounds or more.
problem is, I have no title for the trailer and all tags on the trailer are faded and not legible.
My question is - how would I go about finding the weight and getting a new title? Thanks
Any help would be appreciated.

If you know the name of the trailer manufacture, give them a call and ask if there is a plate they hide on the trailer with the numbers stamped in. Most will have a plate somewhere. Once you have the number your local police can verify and usually between the verification, notarized bill of sale the DMV will issue a title. It is a pain and can take some time.

I had the exact same problem so my insurance company recommended registering in Maine. I googled Maine trailer Registration and bingo it is legal in all 50 states and can be done on line and plates sent to you via mail. Good luck!
