Default TickFaw 200, let’s go anyway...

Just making sure OSO members are aware !!! A lot of us are going down to run at Springfield and support them down there, even though they couldn’t get permits for the Tickfaw 200 2021 run. April 28th thru May 1 2021

We are planning on going down as well. I was trying to figure out where to park the boats and trailer now that Blood River will be closed. Anybody know?

Didn't they cancel it this year?

Yes, they cancelled the poker run because they couldn't get permits from the state but that doesn't mean you can't run the rivers, lakes, and stop at the old poker run stops. That's our plan anyway.

there is a boat ramp less than 1/4 mile up the road from blood river
that ramp gets pretty full and hetick
and another off of hwy55 at manshac about 5 miles from blood
lots better choice as has more room for parking big rigs and more ramps
its a large state public ramp
people from here in houston are still coming in

Thank you. Good idea with that ramp. We have always left the boats tied up at night in the canals at the housing development by Blood River. I'm not sure if this an option this year. Might have to put the boats on the trailer every afternoon.

caseyh here on offshore is the event organizer
so may want to pm him to get an answer about the canals
every yr we had a motorhome in the landing and left boat in water there also
but with no landing being open this yr and last yr
may not be an option as surrounding neighbors might say something being in their canals
same as parking boat on trailer at manshac ramp over night as many did in the past or may can still park boats in field coming into landing
casey might have them answers
