Default Scisms Test New 450R Factory Stock Class MTI

Earlier today, MTI’s Taylor and Randy Scism tested the company’s first 390X catamaran built to compete in the new 450R Factory Stock class.

That is a cool looking boat.

For racing do they get rid of the rubber mounts and go solid, it seems on all the video's I see of the OB cats running that the motors move around a lot. Also what is the disk looking things I assume is mounting something on the canopy? I never seen that on the pleasure versions.

There are other manufactures getting in this game for sure. DW has a couple of people committed to new boats for the class and a couple others that I have heard of. This is going to be a major research program for strengthening the 450s. Racing always presents the weak areas of any product and in turn ends up creating a better consumer product for everyone.
