Hi,
4months ago a put in a WTB here at offshore only for a Velvet 72LH-P drive
2weeks later I got a PM here who gave me an e-mail adress to a private seller/dealer who got 2 drives for sale, after checking a few references everything seems ok.
I send the dude 4500usd for the drive and a week later he said he shipped it by boat cargo, I also got a tracking no.
After 10days the tracking no. worked at the given shipping company site, but it says 2xCSB engines was on its way to New York.....

I contacted him and he suddenly said he had no tracking no. for my drive....

Now it has gone +3months since he said he "shipped" the drive, and now he does not answer my emails...
I also PM the dude I got the email adress from, and he said he know the dude well I will recive it any day, but this is weeks ago...

Not even know for sure if the PM dude/reference persons/seller is the same person.

Not know if the Corona has added huge amount of shipping time or if he fooled me...

Any suggestions/help what to do is appreciated

From what you’ve posted, it doesn’t look good.
I’d post the OSO screen name of the first guy, who answered your ad, and see if anyone else here knows him or anything about him. If everything’s sweet and on the way, you can use the forum to thank him for his help. If it all’s goes bad, I say ‘name and shame’.

Seems like you got jacked around. A quick search shows no posts from Danrs on this site ever, I doubt anyone here has ever heard of him/her.

You see, I have been working +6years with a engine/boat project:

Rolls-Royce Griffon V12 2240cui connected to 2x 72LH-P via a overdrive homemade twin output shaft gearbox, home made ASD8 etc.
I already have one 72LH-P drive and need one more.
One thing this project do not need is somebody fooling me with alot of money/time.

The name and the address do not match. Jaimee Morse seems to be a fake name. There is a Kris Morse in Fridley Mn, but I doubt that person would be selling boat parts. Good luck, I hope you get your money back.
