While replacing my sea water pump I accidentally yanked the hose incorrectly from the air manifold (the section where you pump air into the valve to drain the water). I ordered a replacement air manifold ($120 lesson) but was wondering if i need to install it before i can drive the boat and test everything. Will water come out of the air hose if left open/unplugged or is there a valve within the sea water pump that prevents water from coming thru the air actuator hoses? I assume there is a valve but but would like to confirm before attempting. I appreciate any input. Thanks.
