Default Diamond plate removal- bilge

While I have a motor out I want to pull up the blue diamond plate in the bilge and reseal it. It was lifted up at the transom and the bilge drain hoses were jammed under it along with a ton of sh*t and wont lay down flush. This prevents water from laying above the outer stringer because it can make it to the drain hole in the back. Seems like its glued/silicone in pretty damn well. Want to try and remove it without damaging the plate so I can reinstall after i clean everything up. Anyone done this? Any trick to getting it out without damage?

You can always use Debond and spray it along the edge so it run underneath the plate. It's the best stuff I've ever used to break down sealants. 5200 wasn't any problem to remove by using this stuff.

Also if you get it started on one end and can get a thin wire underneath the plate and cut through the silicoln like a saw. I did that on one of my cigs. Worked well.

Thanks guys, I will try the wire trick as I can access under the rear of the plate easily. Will see if that works and if not, use the debonding stuff.
