Like topic says the super tacky light blue grease I seen it on my shifters and shift plates. Works great just looking for what it is.

Might be Merc spline grease. As the name implies, it's supposed to be used when re-installing an outdrive to lube the connection between input shaft and the drive coupler. It's real thick and sticky stuff.

Lucas Oil 10005 Red 'N' Tacky Grease - 14 Oz. This is what I have been using. Very sticky from Amazon.
