Default CIG Tiger porpoise - weight in nose

There was a thread not all that long ago about how even a little weight in the nose can cause some porpoising.

Look at all this crap I just fished out of my nose!!!

Can't wait to try it next weekend and see if there is any improvement....

Anchor, luggage, etc. in the bow focks up the cg in a straight hull cig. That stuff? I don’t know. But if you’re running bravos or XR’s on that tiger you need to get a set of these! Magic.

I thought the weight helped it no?
Ive had stuff in and out and never really noticed any difference .

F11 anchor, couch filler, filler cushion, ac , 2 huge memory foam matresses, body pillows, blankets , etc etc I got a ton of stuff up there .

It's more weight than you'd imagine. Bunch of lawn chairs, fans, beach umbrellas. It adds up.....

Tank, I remember those fins you installed. I might try them next year if I can't find a little improvement this year. It just porpoises so bad if you're in even moderately calm water.....

On the brighter side, the CDI ignition box has made docking so much better....

i don’t know brother. Maybe the flat decks weight makes it different but whether it’s a 90’s cafe, gun or tiger, you put anything substantial in the bow it plays havoc with the CG and creates porpoise. Experienced it in our gun when we put the anchor and chain in the very bow storage. Experienced it on a tiger running down to key west with all our luggage up on the vee birth. And experienced it Ins. Cafe throwing heavy stuff up in the very forward storage locker.

made it easier to plane (don’t need tabs to assist), took away porpoise (don’t need to drag tab). Overall improved planing and ride. I was pretty blown away at the difference.
