A couple of one-of-a-kind automobile-inspired 44-foot MTI catamarans are currently for sale.

Pardon my ignorance, but have these two boats not been for sale off and on for several years?

nice boats just the same.... great "one-upsmanship" (if that is a word???) back in the day between Pyburn/ 388 Skater and Gino in the Mercedes, both pushing the max out of the boats with the same Throttleman on the sticks (JT)

What ever happened to the Batman MTI? I think the Looney Tunes one was redone.

Theme boats are cool but at 10 years old they would be a huge pain in the azz when the stuff like seats/gauges/trim needs to be redone and it was all "one off" stuff.

The Batman MTI is still in the Lake of the Ozarks area. I believe it was in the Lake Race.

Theme boats, cool as they are as you point out (and there have been some stunners) can be hard to move because they are so specific to the original buyer.
