Default Fuel pump selection

Hello All,
I'm currently build a SBC and need a fuel pump for a HP 427 Carburetor engine not sure if I should go electric or mechanical. Open to any suggestions but Holley mechanical pumps I have nothing no but a carb.

I just finished my fuel system for a 540 carb. I ended up using a Weldon a600 pump and a Weldon return regulator. I am so far very happy with the setup.

DidnT you or Mt have volume issues with one of the lower psi baker pumps
but a higher psi one with a regulator took care of it ? If you remember please let us know here too. Thanks !
