Hey guys. I am having a over heating issue. When my temp gauge hits 190 it throws an alarm. It’s not a beep it’s a solid alarm. I changed the impeller it was damn near new. However put the new one on it. I opened the heat exchanger cap. Found some wood chips (thanks lake Cumberland). And advice on how to flush the heat exchanger? Or any other ways to flush the system for debris. Hoping that’s all the issue is. Thanks for any input

Suggest taking the end caps off and use a bore brush

How is the water flow out of the exhaust? Is it truly over heating? Check engine temps with a temp gun. If so its a fairly simple system. Just start back flushing.

Agree with above....Bore brush. If you take both end caps off you should be able to see thru the tubes.
