Default PPG Concept 91050 White ?

Hi guys/gals

I have looked all over the web for PPG’s single stage Concept 91050 white paint with no success, is PPG Chromaglast 91053 the same?

Thanks
Frank

no 91053 is not the same its dirtier and more yellow. 91050 is my "go to" white and has been for years. its actually the paint color equivalent to basically the industry standard white gel used by most manufacturers. Its slightly grey and if you put a drop in a mixing white you can see just how grey it is. This number was given to me by Donzi years ago when i was doing warranty work for them through a local dealership and i have used it ever since. What i like about it is it works fantastic with all other colors, vinyl whites and literally any graphics colors work well off it. One of the biggest problems with boat painting i have ever seen is using to bright of a white or even worse "refrigerator" white (worst white on the planet). To this day i still get nervous when i shoot it as under shop lights it looks like a light grey sealer sometimes lol but when its cleared and out in the sun it looks fantastic.

you should be able to get it mixed at any PPG distributor in pretty much any of their lines.

91053 is actually the paint code for those little Grumman LLV post office trucks lol . . . . i painted 950 of them (for real)
