What is procedure to open hatch if battery dead or hatch failure? Hasn’t happened yet but I am curious

Hatch failure you may have a hard time. I wound up having to disassemble the battery switch mount and jump it from there. Added a battery charger with a accessible plug in shortly after that.

Put a quick disconnect pin with stainless lanyard thru the top mount on lift pole at bracket on underside of hatch. Just pull pin and manually lift hatch.
