Default Looking for the fuse box on. 1990 fountain fever 29

I can’t seem to get my gauge lights to turn on and I can’t find if there is a fuse anywhere for this, boat has been sitting for a few years now! The red light beside the panel lights won’t turn on when I hit the switch to on position! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 or 3 fuses under the dash. Not sure what they are for.

Those you are referencing may be accessory power. Not sure about your year model but my 99 does not have fuses besides for accessories(for aftermarket add ons).

Sounds like you are not getting power to the switch. Probably not a “fuse” for gauge lights only.

Take a 12v tester to the back of the switch to see if you are getting power. If not, trace the wire going away from the gauges.

Mine is not like that.

One breaker or fuse is probably not designated for the gauge lights only. You would probably see more than one thing not working if that were the case.

I looked under my dash. A thick orange power wire is running from the back powers my gauge (panel) lights.

Best thing to do is get a 12v tester and start at the switch. That will take some guess work out. I keep one on both my boats.

Those in the picture above are likely breakers for the Trim Pump and Tab's. I have a 92 manual. PM me with your cell number and I will send you pictures. Mine are slightly modified. I redid the dash years ago and added warning lights and different gauges.

Lots of info here if you haven’t already seen it but this may be for later models.
