Been having some issues so I decided to check fuel pressure. At idle Im getting 34 PSI. When I give it throttle to about 3000 RPM it drops to 32. There's no way that can possibly be adequate pressure on an engine that big. Took the vacuum hose off the fuel module and saw 43. However I noticed the electrical connector to that pump was so hot I almost left skin on it...which also cannot be normal.

Low 40s at idle if I remember correctly. Mine runs from about 42 at idle to high 40s at WOT.
