Default Trailer brakes

Can anyone recommend a shop they like within a few hours of the Kansas City metro area to change from surge drum brakes to electric over hydraulic? My boat is not big, just 23 foot, but my primary lake there are enough large hills with high traffic that I would like a little more control of my trailer going down a steep grade where the on off engagement of surge brakes are annoying. I am okay mechanically with some instruction, but have never attempted anything like this, would this be difficult to do myself?
Thank You

It is not a difficult job. There are videos on e trailer. As long as you are doing it you may want to consider switching to disc brakes also.
