Default Ford v Chevy v Dodge - great article on pickuptruck.com

There's a great article at http://www.pickuptruck.com/ comparing the diesels from Ford, Chevy, and Dodge - the Ford is the new 6.0 diesel.

Article is in three parts, with the first part posted this week, the rest to follow.

Performance reports include 1/4 unloaded, 1/4 towing a 12k+ trailer, manual v auto, the works. Interesting reading....

Looks like the Isuzu I mean Duramax rocks.

I don't think it was fair to have the Dodge included because it had the 4:10 gears, I'm sure thats why the manual truck won that part...except for the 90 mph thing , I'm assuming it wouldn't even make it to 90 with those gears.

I'm still not ready to sell my noisemaker Dodge!

Troutly,

Looks to me, like the NEW PSD smoked EVERYBODY!
I'm going to wait a couple of years for Ford to de-bug it, and then if HQ approves the req., we'll get a new one.

I hear ya! I really want one after reading those articles - problem is, if I buy the truck, I can't afford a boat! And I can't buy a boat if I don't have a truck to tow it with!

Sounds like a chicken and the egg problem - what came first, the tow vehicle or the tow load???
