Default Crusiar/domestic/Zephyr - air conditioner replacement

Need to replace this. No model number

It's a Zephyr, by Cruisair. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Starting to assume it's now the Dometic ECD line.

Wish they had a direct replacement where I could use my knob controls so I don't have to cut out my panel.

The boats manufacturer might know the model of the air conditioner with your HIN number and the air conditioners manufacturer would know a replacement.

If you know the BTU's of the unit, you can change it out with most any new unit. Changing the controls is not that hard. It's done all the time. And if your unit is aged, you're most likely going to have to do it anyway.

What controller do you have? What is wrong with your unit? Most likely can be repaired.

CIG isn't going to be much help on this I don't think. Just not their strong suit.

Not interested in spending hundreds to repair a 19 year old unit when I can buy a new one for 12-1500. I think there has been some consolidation in the market over the years and was hoping there is a direct replacement for this unit....

Edit (since I didn't answer your question) it's leaking refrigerant....

Look at Flagship marine. Out of Florida Commercial quality more expensive. Works great. Turned my Grand Banks into a meat locker. May not make a size small enough for your application. Good luck

Ours went dead in the Sea Ray last summer, went with another brand, pretty plug and play, MarinAire, maybe give them a call.
