Default Oil filter question

My engine has a top of the mount oil filter, so it's mounted upside down.

I have used the Wix 51060 and Wix 51061 filters in the past with no issues.

The 51061 has an anti- drain back valve.

Which one would you use and why?

When they are mounted upside down, you should use a filter with an anti drain back valve. Otherwise all the oil in the filter runs back to the pan. It will take longer for the oil to circulate upon start up and it will give a reading on the dipstick of about an extra 1/2 qt of oil.
