Volvo Penta engine scan Hour/Rpm
Can 2006 Volvo Penta 5.7 gxi engines be scanned for hours/rpm run time like Mercruiser engines? Looking at a boat at a dealer with these engines and they say they are too old. Can only be scanned for codes and total hours, no breakdown of hours/rpm runtime. Doesn't sound right to me.

They can be scanned. I have scan tool and have hooked it up to my Volvo Penta’s several times. I left the key on once and I wanted to see how many hours difference.

Does it give you the breakdown of how long at what RPM range 0-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-3000 etc? Or just total hours?
