Who knows anything about the 44 and 42 mti’s with stand up bolsters? What’s the history? And are there any for sale besides “rare breed” at performance and why hasn’t it sold for the price it’s at it seems cheap I know the bam drives can scare people is that why?

The one thing I can suggest why rare breed hasn't sold is that someone will have to really like the paint on it. It's kind of like my AT you either like it or you don't. As far as you question on the stand up bolsters I'm sure someone will chime in soo.

if i recall correctly i think the first ones were a joint venture between mti and fountain, i think it was a combo that wanted to combine speed with amenities (like black thunder did with V hulls) there was one here on the bay and it ran good w 900s i think, but its hard to get over the looks, not that its bad, just different. rudder boats and bpm drives run great and run true, bpm drives are fine. only downside is if you lose power on one side its like a one legged duck, you go in circles..

I have a 2002 that has been completely redone new paint full polycarbonate windshield and new mercury 700sci with stage 3 whipple upgrades and fresh #6s. I've been thinking of selling it but hard to find something to replace it.
