I'm just curious why one would want a 400 Verado vs. a 400R on a center console ? Pro's / Con's ?

Example ... There's a 32 Sunsation in the classified section here with Verado's. Why not 400R's ?

3 year vs 1 year warranty
if you aren't going over 85 merc says the verado is fine
the R needs at least 91 octane too

So in short... The verado saves some dough, longer warranty, easier to fill uo the tank, and really only lacks 200RPM off the R so if you aren't running a fast cat it makes more sense to go Verado
