Default Chris Craft Scorpion 311 Rebuild

I recently purchased a 1984 Chris Craft Scorpion 311. It will be a total rebuild, electrical, transom, engines, etc. It currently has 2 (OX55 225's) that I am not interested in keeping or using. I would like to push this hull to a reasonable limit. Are twin 350 verado's suitable ? For those with Scorpions, what type of performance numbers have you seen ? Cannot post photos until I have 10 posts but will find a way to upload.

Can't help with specifics on your boat.
Welcome to OSO, you can just make ten (eight more) posts (they don't need to be meaningful) to be able to post pictures.

I should have mentioned, all your post could have been in this thread!
Cool project, I can't imagine grinding fiberglass in the heat and humidity down there.

Love the old Scorpions, simple lines, very cool.

Great project, for motivation, here’s a 311 for sale near me. I don’t know the boat personally, Its a practical setup, nothing over the top. The Bimini is huge but we need shade over here.🙂
