Heres my recently bought 05 275 BOSS.

What exactly makes it a BOSS? Is it the faring over the windshield?

What additional options did I get?


Love this boat!

Keep in mind there are/were several "packages" as options. From one of the brochures I have it says this about the Boss Package:

• custom steering wheel
• large K-planes with indicators
• custom bezels on gauge faces
• white Kiekhaefer controls with trim in handle
• fire extinguisher system
• compass
• depth finder
• cockpit cover with Baja inlay
• rubber mats under rear bench
• white Acrylic windscreen
• Performance Plus stereo upgrade
• BOSS logos and graphics
• Sunbrella cockpit cover

Other packages, which may have included most of the options above were:

1. Grand Prix package
2. SST package
3. Adventure package
4. Special Options package

The white Acrylic windscreen is unique to the BOSS series I believe

The SST package has the white Acrylic windscreen, also. Some models like the Hammer came with it as a Standard feature To sum it up after looking through this brochure more carefully, it appears the constant 'difference' with the BOSS package over other packages is the gelcoat option, the graphics and logos. custom steering wheel, Gaffrig gauges with color coordinated bezels.

The OUTLAW series and the SST both appear to have the fairing over the white Acrylic windshield. Some BOSS modes have a glass windscreen. And there are custom combinations out the wazoo.
