The 28 Magic cat seems to be very competive with the rest of its competition. Good speed numbers and good articles in all the mags that did tests.

The 44 Magic cat seems to be too heavy. Needs to much power to make any good speed numbers. Not very competive against the others.

Sleekcraft, dont know much, seems to be a typical west coast style boat(and thats a good thing by the way).

Default Sleekcraft

I had a 1989 SleekCraft 24 Vhull powered by a 455 tricked Olds and a jacuzzi pump. The craftmanship was great .

I was about to get the 24Cat when they came out with it, but got a divorce and lost my V in the aftermath.
Sorry I don't have any more current info.

A friend of mine was looking at the Sleekcraft/Magic cats. Not sure what model.. I owned a Sleekcraft a ton of years ago, but that was when they were making ModVP boats..

Let me know if anyone has any first hand experience with them.

I have a 89 28' Sleek and have been to the factory. The company is under new ownership and the quality hs gone way up. My boat had nice gel and graphics but the rigging looked like it was done by a 8 year old. I am in the proccess of putting all new wiring and clamping everything down.

I own a 2000 30' hard deck Sleek, Great boat, great deal, and the rigging on mine looks ok. Overall I am happy with my purchase I have just over 230 hrs on it, No problems.

I think the Sleekcraft was made for the lakes 22 degree deadrise and the Magic was a 24 degree hull. I believe they are made at the same factory in Havasu City.
