Question Who makes a good solid aftermarket bucket seat??

Are Wise and Springfield really the only choices? I'm looking for mid back buckets and coming up with nothing, short of a company in Australia. Are custom seats from scratch just not a thing in North America???

There were more options available, but it does seem like a few have gone out of stock. I was looking at Attwood Aergo seats, but they seem to be out now too.

I had bought some Springfields for my last boat and they were OK. Nothing great. I'm now looking at the Wise seats too.

Most of the ones available on Amazon I think are Chinese made. I like to read the negative reviews on stuff and see if there's a common complaint that keeps showing up.

I had seen recently a set of drop down bolsters in a classifieds somewhere. Those would prob be the best route to go and have them reupholstered if you want good quality.

Xlint89 - I fear all those Attwood, Wise, etc are coming from the same big bucket in China. A friend just bought a set from Amazon and they are pretty good except the for the flip up bolster which is wobbly and won't be around long if you really use it.

phragle - what line within PRP did you get? They do like nice. I didn't want to go too high on the back.

Thank you, but those colors aren't even close to what I need.

Colors? I gave up on that a long time ago. I will need to have whatever I buy recovered I'm sure. Remember when their were options? I can hardly. In the absence of the custom wheel offsets we used to be able to order I actually had to have a set of wheels CNC'd from raw forgings last year. Oh to return to pre-2019.

Im running the podium series with extra height..I got a bit carried away but when I was putting the boat together I was concerned about the possibility of stuffing it and wanted support behind my head. they do make low back seats with no headrest

I'm looking for seats too, PRP is a good idea. Has anyone done an air ride system on the stem? My old-ass back doesn't take the bumps like it used to, sitting or standing.

Seats are tough to find that fit and meet exact needs, thats why i'm building my own and keep the plug in the living room for a couple more weeks
