Default Looking for a Very Nice Velocity 22

Hello all, I am currently searching for a 1985-1986 as well as a 97 and later 22 Velocity. Preferably with a 7.4 and a Bravo 1 drive. I know the 85 and 86s have a n Alpha drive and that's fine. I have cash in hand, but the boat must be in exceptional condition. Once one is found I intend to have a survey performed on the boat to make sure the boat is sound. If anyone knows where a boat like this one can be found. I would greatly appreciate a heads up, Thanks

Why would you look for that boat? If your going that old at least go a few years older and get a Steve Stepp Velocity.

I've had a couple of Velocity's years ago, a 23 and a 30. I've always liked the lines of that era 22s. I'm not looking to go offshore racing. Just some fun on the lake or down on the river. Scott Mccormick had one of these boats, so they must not suck that bad.

I would like one of the 22's with the new 350 on it. That would be a fun lake/river boat.

Tell me about it. What an awesome piece of beauty and speed. Supposed to be an 80MPH boat with the 350R on it. At $140K base price. Unless I hit the lottery I don't think I'll be cruising one of those bad boys any time soon.

Love the 22's....with the flat deck, not the regal variety, euro transom, etc, Stepp built. Would love to own one myself.

I may have found just what I've been looking for. Its a Mint 1985 22 Velocity. It has a 383 fairly pumped up SBC with a gen II Alpha drive. The guy that owns it is older and anal just like me. He has redone almost everything so it is mint. He had the boat for sale and now having second thoughts. He told me to give him a couple of days to toss it around and hopefully he'll end up letting me bring her home.
