A pair of teams made short work of the 100 miles worth of Atlantic Ocean between Palm Beach and Bermuda, https://www.speedonthewater.com/cata...eway-marathon/

Little confused was the time subtracted from LUCAS that he gave to the Cig team? What was the times of both without the penalty and delay start?
I am more impressed that it was that close, wow.

The delayed start was done for fun ... to see if the cat could catch the V-bottom. For the purpose of record setting, each boat was on its own clock.

Thinking back on the Offshore Races that HORBA put on between Sunny Isles, (Miami, Haulover Cut) to Bimini and back in the early 2008, 2010 years of 100 miles distance.
I don't think the record for the cat that averaged 145 MPH for that full 100 mile distance, has ever been broken.
