I have dry CMI Big Tubes - maybe 8 or 9 years old. Flushed for 5-10 minutes after every run. I hope mine last half as long as yours!!

I work on a few mid 80’s boats with original exhaust. One’s a 84 that stays in the water all season. Maybe missed being used (put in) only 4-5 years ? Other is 87. Other is an 81. Same deal. Both oe merc cast iron.

Much maligned CMI headers on their 15th season. Fresh water only though.

Lightning Headers original from 98 so I'm at 24 years. Had them pressure tested and inspected a few years ago, still look new.
