After doing an overnight going through all my galleries one by one for the last 17 years searching out all the images I could find related to Louis "The Rigger" I put a tribute Gallery together for people to check out and for the family to use whatever they need for his services.
Godspeed Louis, you will not be forgotten ... https://www.timsharkey.com/blog/2022...s-giancontieri

My Condolences to the Giancontieri family, OPA family and to all his friends.
I just read the post and was surprised to hear of Louis Giancontieri Passing. This was a shock to me as I always looked forward to seeing Louis the Rigger of "Strictly Business" fame at the St. Clair River Classic and watching him race and it was always a Battle on the Race Course with Smitty of Wazzup and this friendly rivalry went on for years but off the Race Course they were the best of friends. Louis would always make time to talk to you no matter what he was doing and he always made time for his fans and I was one of those fans from Canada that always came to watch him race. This was a man who was dedicated to his Sport and the fans and just one of the nicest guys that you could ever meet. I will always remember him as one hell of a racer and a true gentalman. Forever in our thoughts. RIP

its a sad day, Louis was just simply put a great guy, always smiling. had a devilish demeanor and was never short with a sarcastic remark with a chuckle after it. He was one of those guys that spoke quietly but you found yourself hanging on his words because he meant what he said... I'll miss our sharing of fb posts as he and i swapped memes daily, but i know when im posting one about this administration he will be laughing and agreeing in spirit...
