Default Swim platform

This spring I ordered, through Velocity, a Marine Mat for my swim platform . David at Velocity was great to work with. Finally got a chance to install it and it looks great and no longer slippery.

How are things in Maryland? Any chance of you coming up for the Battleship Run?

Very happy having moved from PA and living in MD. No plans for the Battleship Run this year as we are still settling in and exploring the Chesapeake region. Perhaps next year.

Looks very nice!! Do you think Velocity doesn't need aluminium platform to be nice?

Hi Padraig. Just looked at your picture again. Are you running a 5 blade prop? If so how do you like it - how does it compare to a 4 blade handling wise? Thanks!

Mike, it depends on the boat...On the VR 1 it is molded on. On the older 280 Velocity I think the aluminum platforms look great.

Hey Rick, I have been running the Hydromotive P 5 prop for quite a few years. I like it, had to have Hydromotive tweak it some, but it runs well and stays hooked up better than the Quad 4 or even the Bravo 1.

We have received about 6 inches of snow overnight and it is still coming down. Looks like I will need to fire up the snow blower soon.

Stay warm,

Padraig
