Just starting a thread for anyone going up to run or watch. Always a fun time. Anyone heading up who's never been there before? Will be posting some pictures next weekend...

Stereo Wars is sponsored by Good Boy Vodka this year. There will be plaques handed out to the top 3 spots. Phragle has started a new tradition with a traveling trophy for first place. Hope Dr T approves of the song selection this year. If you are in the main dock and have some REO on your place list, please join the fun.

Was a GREAT weekend !! Weather and water were perfect.
Many thanks to RT930 for the ride (and Captain Ace) , BlackJack58 for the rum, and BlueOval for his tireless dedication. It was also nice to honor Wrinkleface. This was the first BoyneThunder without a good friend and he was truly missed,
Tracy was definitely there in spirit..

Great job by Team Push It for the Stereo Wars. The street show had a few hiccups. But pulled together and turned out AWESOME with the help from Blackjack and his wife. We had a big crowd for Stereo Wars. the first three groups did great on the day of the run. Group 4 was horrible. Cutting in the middle of spectators and everyone of them passing the pace boat down the lake. I got my butt chewed off by local law enforcement. I believe there were a couple tickets written for speeding. I thought these boaters knew Lake Charlevoix was only 55. It may seem funny at the moment. Problem is, we have to meet with the DNR, Coast Guard, and Charlevoix water patrol to get our permit each year. If they say no, then no event. I sure hope the horrible actions of group 4 does not shut the fun down. I have been part of this run for 18 years. Most likely my last.
