I'm going to assume that you're serious about the question.

I posted some suggestions in the suggestion forum a few weeks ago with only one reply. Thought the board gods might give a little feedback on the ideas, but nothing.

I am surprised it's not used more with this many members. There's another forum I frequent (not boating related) that usually brings 20-30 poeple on an average night. They promote it quite a bit though.

O.K. I have to defend my friends here. Having met Troutly several times, he may be ugly, but he's not that ugly. (you owe me one Scott ) And Speedgirl has got a much better body that that woman ever had!!!

But that is damn funny.

Perhaps if they made a window showing who is in the chat room without having to actually go into it, there might be more interest. They could make it so this window should be visible to all on the website. If they see a ton of people's screen names listed in there then perhaps they may be more apt to enter in. Just an idea.

Hey, there, Buckyboy----I've heard about those "other" forums (a friend told me about them).

Some of 'em get promoted very heavily---I could imagine, I guess

Tell us more about that "other" forum you frequent---20-30 people at a time, huh?

Sounds wild.
