Default Performance Boat Center Outboard Fun Run Heading For The Cave

A destination itself, Performance Boat Center now has an event-stop/venue in the form of the Cave Bar and Grill under its umbrella, https://www.speedonthewater.com/perf...-for-the-cave/

PBC and Mercury did an amazing job on last year's event, and I'm sure this will be even better. Looking forward to the new stop.

For those doing the run that haven't been to The Cave yet, there is one covered dock and the rest are open docks with shared wells. It can be a little rough around the docks due to boat traffic. Hopefully it won't be as bad as if the run was held on a Saturday. Also, be prepared to deal with dragging some sand on your person to and from the docks. Still some growing pains going on with the facility but a little patience goes a long way to having a good time there. They will get it dialed in as they do with all their facilities. Very cool place. Especially inside the cave (literally)!

There are so many amazing caves in that area. It's about time someone made a hotspot out of one.

Yes sir. We arrive tomorrow evening and leave late Monday. The project/subdivision goes public tomorrow, and we are full steam ahead.

So the covered docks are for the restaurants as well? I asked on FB yesterday, but no one had answered as of this am.

Yes. At first I wasn't sure either wondering if it was part of the old marina or something else but it is indeed for use by The Cave customers. Obviously the preferred dock for both shade and not having to share a slip with others that may not be so skilled in slipping next to another boat (I've been tagged before in a shared well at LOTO).
