Most buyers have the fantasy but much like the older/smaller Concepts they are missing all the extras that other boats offer as standard today. No step bottom, narrow beam, not much shade etc.

True, Most people who buy an Ocean Hawk buy them because (1) proven design and (2) the layout works for what the buyer wants... its a Cig CC that checks a lot of boxes for owner requirements/expectation and not expected to run 80+ like a newer step bottom... so they have a following (and a resale demand)

I love the simplicity and the size/twins. 50+ ft center consoles for millions of dollars seem to have gotten too big, too thirsty etc.

Center Console boats were designed as work/utility/fishing boats that provided deck space for the applicable job and were a fun boat to own/operate with significantly less upkeep than what they've evolved into.
