My cafe is setup for bravos with standard transom assemblies and I want to add full hydraulic steering. Been looking at ITS transoms, if I converted to these what would be the effect of being lower in the water due to the 7" setback? Would it slow the boat down? Ride better due to more leverage and bow lift?
For the most part it doesn't porpoise much, though it will a bit in certain wave conditions, then I just need to lower the drives down to 3 and it stops.
Don't want to invest in shorty lowers, at that point I'd rather search for a set of AD7M's which are my dream setup, but not in the cards at this point.

There is minimal drop in prop shaft location with ITS, buy them put them on they are a sweet upgrade, so much cleaner transom, I have them on my Gun, I dont think you will lose any speed with the props in cleaner water it may pick up a couple ?
