Not sure how far you want to drive or how much you wanted to pay in shipping but maybe try thees company's: Rudy's Diesel and Grays Diesel Performance. If you are purty good with a wrench I would find a good machine shop and have them do the machine work and put the engine together your self or have them do a short block but crate engines are so easy to R.A.R. so I get it. I have worked on the T444E a little in the past but specialized in Cummins before I got into aviation.
Thanks, Chris

F2 Speedy- I talked with him last week , when he told me my engine didn't have forged rods but could sell me a set added to cost of the build , when I clearly have forged rods and want my engine refreshed/built , not some core they have built ...No. absolutely not.

Mopar Crazzy- I am looking to get it assembled by a diesel/machine shop , to many tolerances/ clearances etc I have zero knowlage in that department. I am a Refinish tech 33 years..

I have purchased a few items from Rudy's . I will take a look at Grays.

I have a email into Leadfoot Diesel , I was given that lead today .

Navistar sells a stripped long block Diamond Advantage DA2251371 for like $5400 but , don't know what I would be getting rod wise , forged or powder metal. Same though Ford reman which I was told Ford is reman engines for Navistar.

With Bitteroot 205/30% injectors , KC Turbo 63/68 .84 , Terminator hpop, Banks air intake , Banks complete exhaust and custom Hydra tunes , should be at 400hp and close to half ton of torque . Going for useable daily driver power, not racing , not putting on dyno to brag about a number. Reliability is the goal , with no DEF and all the other crap on todays diesels.

I don't mind pallet and shipping.

Kill Devil Diesel long block is 6k plus the ride. Have not been able to get the questions I have -answered , just talk with the office lady and that don't jive with me spending that kinda coin and pay 50% deposit with no date of completion just told 4 to 6 months.

I was told that you can't get ARP rod bolts right now I don't know how they completing any engine assemblies. Most people want that upgraded rod bolt.

I can get /source everything OEM / or better for everything needed for my 7.3 goal, long block parts for re build and have it all here by this coming Friday. Just sayin"... not trying to sound arrogent.

Back round on project-
ReBuilding this truck from ground up with 05 frame to have coil front end and doing the rear leaf conversion with 2021 leafs/PMF front mount. Ford HDtrans, New process /Venture gear transfer case remand from them. Dana60 all new Spicer or Ford OEM , Dynatrac balljoints ,Trackanator track bar , BDS Radius arms , Kelderman dual stabiliser ,PSC steering box LEE power steering conversion, etc . Have every sensor , engine harness OEM , been buying parts for a year. Whats crazy is I ordered a OEM a/c compressor 2.5 months ago , has not arrived , but ordered a complete evaporator box assembly and had it next day from Ford. !??

Johnson Engines in Harrisburgh IL specializes in 7.3's. I used to buy parts from them from time to time when I needed a head or rods. Might give them a shout

I would love to have 400hp and 1000lbs of torque out of mine. I could quit thinking about getting a newer truck then. What truck are you building?

No problem I understand completely. I have forgot about Lead Foot Diesel although I thank they specialize in the newer Ford/IH diesel but I could be wrong. I have never had luck with the motocraft brand parts and would also not recommend jasper. Btw Please post pictures of the truck when you get it done with the restoration would love to see it and you cant go wrong with a good old 7.3L lol.
