Ok, wow...was I floored when I got a note from the popular boating website that the Mirage Plus 21" pitch prop was a "special order" and not available until next year???

Some oe auto parts been on back order for well over a year.

That’s a crazy lead time! I think I have one sitting around from a previous boat. PM me if interested.

Everything to do with stainless steel has a hefty lead time. CMI headers are 6-8months out. Props. Everything.

I am in a totally unrelated field and we have had two vendors cancel orders for SS NEMA 4 cabinets. Lead times to long and price to unstable.

I work in IT consulting and to get pretty much any switching infrastructure we are 280 days out. Routing and firewalls are over 150 days. Its wild.

lol...and 6 months ago I saw the auction sheet for a local, once very large dealership that had shutdown after the longtime owner had died.
Guess what was on it?
