Default IMCO - 3 Lower on Bravo I Upper

I looked into putting an IMCO -3 Lower on a Bravo I Upper several years ago and am starting to think about it again. Seems like I was able to find photos and such of people doing that but I can not find anything on it now. Does anyone have (or can get) photos of the modifications that needs to occur to the upper?

Also whats the thoughts on buying a complete lower vs just the case and vertical shaft stuff and re-using the other parts from my exisitng Lower?

Pretty sure I remember reading that a -3 will not work on a B1 upper. Might want to check on that via IMCO.

Imco's uppers for -3's have the cav plate raised like the pic above https://imcomarine.com/cal_store/cat...omplete/id/87/

Have you already tried a -2 lower??

no I have not. My prop is about 7 1/2 “ below the boat keel so figure it needs to come up all it can. 1991 24’ Eliminator Daytona / Fun Deck. Figure just buy once and shoot for the stars. If I could find someone to let me borrow a -2 I would be all over that.
