Wtb 30 or 35 donzi zf
Hey everyone we are looking for a 99 to maybe mid 2000s 30 or 35 zf with the cabin. Looking in the surrounding areas of Ohio but willing to travel farther for the right boat. We have seen probably most of the ones listed but you never know. If anyone is thinking of selling between now and winter would love to see and hear about what you have. Thanks

Here is a 38LX if that might be an option for you. JW (Davis, OSO member jwstoys ) has had it a while, and I'm sure is ready to move it.

As a long time Donzi guy with lots of first hand knowledge and also many friends past and present in Donzi, here is my advice.
Stay away from the pre 2000 models as they were still playing with the steps in the bottom. Avoid the older 30' Zf and the newer 32' Zf model (I believe that did not come with a cabin anyway) - they don't handle well and have a bad tendency to porpoise.
The 2001 and newer 29Zf and 35Zf are great boats! I currently co-own a 2003 35 Zf with a friend of mine and absolutely love it. With twin 250 Saltwater Mercs (2 stroke), We see low 60s and cruise all day at 50+.
The only thing I don't like is the 2 stroke Mercs are thirsty and not only burn a gallon per mile almost at any speed but they also drink a lot of oil. We are looking to upgrade to a pair of Verados in the near future.

We found a 35 zf and was able to go look at it and my wife didn't care for it the was just alot that felt cluttered and when standing at the helm you just dinthave the clears view. So we are still looking and expecting out what we are looking for.
