Saw I bit on utube it explained blower surge was caused by the injector hat butterflies being sucked closed and opening and cycling. Thanks for any info RM

This area of expertise is outside of my skill set, but this thread was very informative regarding blower surge (1);
and that Skater named Sorcerer with the Race Crafter engines, and had that bower surge from the videos years ago (2).
I am not fan of blower surge at all.

Before I went EFI...the best my boat would ever run with big carbs it would surge when coming out of gear...surge 2 or 3 good ones then level out...had to time the shifting with the surge or else it would die every time and that makes it a lot less cool hahaha after going EFI and finding a proper tuner, no surge at all, shifts great, and the back of my boat isn't black anymore after running. Surge sounds cool but I'll take a clean transom and easy shifts/docking anyday!!!
